Do you like savoury snacks like I do? Homemade vegetable chips are a really easy and healthy alternative to traditional snack foods. I make them all the time with whatever vegetables I have in the house or can find on sale. Any sturdy root vegetable makes great chips, including sweet potato, beets, carrots, parsnips and turnips. These little yummies are perfect lightly salted, but feel free to experiment with your favourite herbs and spices. Enjoy them alone or use them to scoop up guacamole, hummus or other dips.
